Moment de communion et de partage, c’est en ses termes que la grande famille du Ministère des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises, de l’Economie Sociale et de l’Artisanat (MINPMEESA) a resserré ses liens professionnels autour du ministre Achille BASSILEKEN III, nouvellement promu à la tête de ce département ministériel.
C’était le vendredi 01 février 2019 au Palais des Congrès de Yaoundé, à l’occasion de la cérémonie de présentation des vœux au ministre. Le Secrétaire Général du MINPMEESA Mme MBANDJON Chantal, a dressé le bilan des activités menées en 2018. Une auto évaluation qui va permettre à ce ministère de mieux se projeter dans le futur. De l’encadrement, en passant par la promotion sans oublier l’amélioration de la qualité et de la productivité de la PME ,de l’économie sociale et de l’artisanat ,la mise sur pied de la pépinière Nationale d’Edéa, toutes ses réalisations ont été passées au peine fin. Des résultats satisfaisants qui ont fait du nouveau ministre un manager comblé. Toutes ces réalisations ne se sont pas faites sans difficultés. Aussi, a t- elle égrainé un chapelet de difficultés allant du manque de prime de motivation aux effectifs réduits en passant par l’insuffisance des moyens financiers.
Dans son discours de circonstance, le chef d’équipe, a invité le personnel à redoubler d’ardeur et d’abnégation au travail, qu’ils soient « des agents publics exemplaires afin que les jeunes promoteurs et créateurs de richesses voient en eux des facilitateurs de développement de leurs créativités » car, l’émergence du Cameroun se fera surtout avec les PME, les organisations de l’économie sociale et les artisans qui constituent le socle de l’économie nationale.
Outre ses recommandations, le MINPMEESA a promis apporter des solutions aux doléances du personnel notamment dans l’amélioration de leurs conditions de travail.

SECOND EDITION OF SMEs SENSITIZATION CARAVANSIN BAFOUSSAM
Launched in Douala in its first phase on the 22 September2017, the 2nd edition of the awareness caravans for the membership of enterprises to the Approved Management Centres(AMC) deployed in its second phase in the BafoussamCity Hall onthe 06 and 07 October 2017.
At the opening of this ceremony, Mrs MBAJON Marthe Chantal, Secretary Generalrepresenting the Minister of SMEs prevented, said all the gratitude and appreciation to the authorities and the laborious and dynamic people of the Western Region who come to welcome him massively. She urged them to benefit as much as possible from the facilities and opportunities offered by public authorities for their full development. In a surge of determination, she has also requested that this awareness-raising action be considered as "moments of government communication on the various support and assistance actions that the State is implementing to improve the economic environment of our country".
In terms of objective, note that the introduction of AMC is undoubtedly an important element aiming at improving the business climateand administrative accounting and tax supervision made by experienced experts. This membership provides a range of benefits to improve performance and financial profitability.
Thus, in the course of its activities, the thematic debates that took place, have experienced an increased participation and of a very high level. Partner administrations such as MINADER, MINPOSTEL, MINFI ... have contributed.
At the end of the works, we touched the reality of the daily work of am AMC through the visit of AMC KOUSOK.
At the end of this 2nd edition of the AMC awareness caravans, recommendations were made to the various actors for better support.

PRODUCTIVE CHALLENGES FOR THE NEWLY APPOINTED
The newly appointed personnel of the Yaoundé International Handicraft Centre have been urged by Prof. Laurent Serge ETOUNDI NGOA, Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Social Economy and Handicrafts to make proper use of the handicraft villages so as to promote and valorize the Cameroonian creative spirit.
This was during the installation ceremony of the newly appointed personnel that took place yesterday the 12th of December 2018 at the Yaoundé International Handicraft Center.
It should be noted that the newly appointed personnel are of two different ranks. The first constitutes the coordinator and his vice, while the second is made up of five section heads. In his installation speech, the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Social Economy and Handicrafts addressed both ranks of personnel. He urged the coordinator and his vice to make the handicraft centre more visible through actions such as trainings, management, follow-ups and development. He also urged them to put more emphasis on the respect of lease contracts not forgetting punctuality as well as rigor when it concerns work.
On the part of the Section Heads, the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Social Economy and Handicrafts recommended that they seek for new measures and strategies that will revive the centre and make it more productive.
To crown it all, while wishing them the best on their career path, the Minister insisted that they should cultivate an innovative, anticipative and discernment spirit as well as a deep sense of an accomplished task.
