img 20181213 wa0031 1The newly appointed personnel of the Yaoundé International Handicraft Centre have been urged by Prof. Laurent Serge ETOUNDI NGOA, Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Social Economy and Handicrafts to make proper use of the handicraft villages so as to promote and valorize the Cameroonian creative spirit.

This was during the installation ceremony of the newly appointed personnel that took place yesterday the 12th of December 2018 at the Yaoundé International Handicraft Center.

It should be noted that the newly appointed personnel are of two different ranks. The first constitutes the coordinator and his vice, while the second is made up of five section heads. In his installation speech, the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Social Economy and Handicrafts addressed both ranks of personnel. He urged the coordinator and his vice to make the handicraft centre more visible through actions such as trainings, management, follow-ups and development. He also urged them to put more emphasis on the respect of lease contracts not forgetting punctuality as well as rigor when it concerns work.

On the part of the Section Heads, the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Social Economy and Handicrafts recommended that they seek for new measures and strategies that will revive the centre and make it more productive.

To crown it all, while wishing them the best on their career path, the Minister insisted that they should cultivate an innovative, anticipative and discernment spirit as well as a deep sense of an accomplished task.
